What is your Money Confession? (Your biggest money win or stuff up)
My biggest stuff up is relying on other people
Well, it looks like i have done it again, I have stuffed up again, I have relied on my bookeeper and my accountant to inform me of any irregularities,(profits or losses) and may be a bit of advise on the direction of the business. It was doing well.
Invoices came in, people got paid, I did notice a creep on the invoices,
and wondered why, but paid them all the same. My thought is that, the people involved in the financial side of the business could see how it was progressing and addobted a we'll have some of that attitude.
Tax time comes and I am Stuck with a huge tax and accountants bill.
I don't mind paying for services but a bit of advise in between goes a long way. I could have lost a lot of it on super, or other tax deductable items.
What is all this about medicare Levy,? If you have Private health insurance
you pay Medicare Levy anyway, so why bother, I don't see what the difference is. We had it (Private Health Insurance) for Five years, it was a pile of C**P because of the gap and the doctors charged what they wanted, and we paid medicare levy on top.

I have found that relying on other people can be good as long as we don't become dependent on them :-)

Hi Patric - that's something I've learnt along the way too :) Don't rely on others, because they're only out for themselves.
