Hiya everyone, I am so sorry for taking as long as I have to respond to your comments and to post my pics. I've been head down tail up creating a custom curtain. Which is something completely new for me. So I hope you will all forgive me for these absenses I have from the computer and I'd better get back to replying! PS my business "Pouffe Palace" provides original custom-created ottomans to people seeking a unique, quality product that is not available through retail stores due to their individual characteristics. I can also provide other forms of custom-created furniture, storage solutions and soft furnishings. My other business "First Aid 4 Furniture" provides a traditional and contemporary furniture upholstery service (recovery & restoration). (:

Hi & welcome! What did you do with the $1,000? I've always wondered how I'd blow "free" cash!

Hey CFC, good to see someone expressing their individuality in this bland world that we live in!

That would be bloody tough! How on earth do you budget, and how do you keep getting new clients? Do you sell online? If not, this may be a good way of picking up some new clients. It's pretty easy to set up a basic site, and it's a great way of displaying your wares. eBay is another way to do it. And I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a plug here on your own page.

I'm keen to see pics too. What kind of stuff do you make?

Hey creativefurniturecreator, running a business is great in that you're your own boss, but it's tough sometimes having so much responsibility. What kind of furniture do you make (I'm taking a stab that this is your thing?). Do you have any examples - if so, load them up on your page so we can check them out.
