Why can't management see the same issues when they have all the financial data right before their eyes?

Looking at the old Oxiana and Zinifex as the new OZ Minerals, I plugged in some numbers to see what the financials would turn out like.

What was supposed to be a stellar year for Oxiana with copper trading at $3.50 or above for most of it has seen it's share… Continue

Bad timing hey with the market. And the Aussie dollar dumping probably won't help matters either. That said, you should still aim to get away. How much do you need - $10K? If you've got a year to go, you just need to stay focussed on putting away $200 a week. Might seem like a lot, but once you get on a roll, it gets easier. I suppose you've just got to figure out ways to save money. Maybe you should start a thread and ask people for suggestions on ways to save money so you can get to the centenary celebrations.

Became a fan in the early 1990's, (1992 actually)
There was a Canberra player who signed for them just prior to the Barcelona Olympics.
Ned Zelic was his name, played a few games for the Socceroos :P
Didn't really follow soccer until the whole Super League thing stuffed up Rugby League. Got more interested in soccer then and with the internet was easier to follow overseas teams.
Hope to be there for 100 year anniversary next year but with the market crashing things aren't looking great.

I've got to ask you, how did you become a fan of something as obscure as a German football team called Borussia Dortmund?!? I figure you're a football (or soccer) player yourself, but why a German team. Did you live there for a while?

E.On is a big German utility company, who happened to be sponsors of my favourite soccer team (Borussia Dortmund aka BVB) a few seasons ago.

Current sponsors of the FA Cup now too

If my stock picks do well over the time frame (2yrs) I may just make it ;P

Took a blow when big hope decided to merge with a dog (OXR)

But at the moment it looks like I might have to push it out a few years
