What is your Money Confession? (Your biggest money win or stuff up)
The person in line in front of me at the Newsagent won $200,000 on his scratchie. I had got a paper before going to the counter. One expensive Newspaper!

That's too much!!! For starters, she should get rid of some of the shoes - she couldn't possible wear all of them. I thought I had a lot, but compared to your wife I'm almost shoeless! (21 pairs).

I don't know why we all think we need to buy so many shoes. Some clever marketer has convinced us that we need to keep buying...

My guess is that Fat Cat uses a server in the US.

If that's the case we'll never get local AUS time on our postings.

I'm in IT and can understand the problem.

The clock is wrong on this web site. I posted at 6.23pm, and the clock says I posted at 1.23am. Hmmmm.

You probably would have spent it all on scratchies! Most people buy more scratchies with their winnings.

If you are interested its a Alfa 8C Competizione released in 2004. 336kw (450 bhp) 4961cc V8. 6 speed gearbox which is computerised through hand controls on steering wheel like racing cars. Run on 20" tyres 245/35 on front and 285/35 on back. They have to be specially imported at a cost of almost $500 per tyre. Manuel Fangio used to race a Competizione around 1950. This car was named after the 6C . Its certainly come a long way.

Hi Russell - nice car! I didn't know there was a new Alpha Romeo out. Looks like they're trying to compete with the latest Aston Martin, Jaguar & Audi - all beautiful beasts.

Hi Russell! Bummer about the scratchie - now you need to figure out another way to get $200k. Perhaps this can psyche you up to start a business, or get clever with your investments. Scratchies are not the way to get rich (except for the person in front of you!). No, seriously, they only give you a one-off amount - what you need is ongoing income, and you can get this from investments - or a business. I'm looking into a business myself now, because the wealthiest people I know all own their own business.
