Can we claim tax deduction from our self learning (not work related)?

Hi All,

Sorry, out of topic, but I don't know where else I can post this question. I work in IT, and I am learning Japanese from a class. I am wondering if I can claim all of my spending for my Japanese class for tax return this year?

Thank you,

Ricky

I agree totally - passive income is the secret, which means via some sort of investment, be it property, shares, or a business. Takes a while to set up, but once you have it, then financial freedom - and personal freedom - is yours.

Guys, I have a question, I am learning Japanese by taking courses. Can I claim that for tax return? It is considered as self learning.
