Borrowing in Australia to invest in property overseas

How do you do this? I can't seem to find any info at the moment, and am thinking about borrowing the deposit to get a loan in Singapore to buy property there. I am a Singapore citizen and an Australian PR. Where to start?

As a newlywed I assume that you've recently bought a house or are looking to buy one. How tough was it (or are you finding it) to first buy and then pay off your home? Prices are so high for new homebuyers these days that there's an incredible amount of pressure, particularly if you have a one-income household.
