Crisis jokes

Best way I've been able to cope with it is through humour, which can get you through most things. Here's one I saw the other day:Consider this: If you had purchased $1000.00 of Babcock & Brown stock one year ago, it would now be worth $6.00. With Centro, you would have $15.50 left of the original $1000. With City Pacific, you would have less than $20.00 left. If you had purchased $1000.00 of Minara Resources stock you would have $99.00 left. If you had purchased Storm Financial, you would…See More

Keep my goals simple and learn the right way. Busy dreaming about it will see you fall short and invariably cost you money. Never listen to those who will not practise what they preach.
So have a beaut day and thanks for your interest.

Yep, just sold our family home this week, will be putting profit into offset on our new home loan ( have moved since last post) so we can access again if we need to. Looking at building a new place as investment. Better depreciation that way. We bought our first home with $3000 savings + 1st home buyers in 2005. Have'nt looked back. Very grateful for all the info on fat cat and domain.

Thanks Mary! My reasoning is I'll probably get carried away from spending too much on my 50th birthday that I will have to go back to work! At least this way, i'll have one year free! :)

Thanks again for your comment of support Mary, yes it did hurt, one pays a price for stupidity or naivity. However the good news is that "World Market Systems" have refunded the USD377.00 that
I've paid. I consider myself lucky getting it back.
All the same, be wary of World Market Systems a lot of australians have got burned also & haven't been so lucky to get their money back. I've read the WMS's Bloges and out of the 70 odd comments, only 2 people actually made a little money, nothing substential for their investment.
Hope all is well with you, and you're on the way to accomplish your dream - your manificant dream-home! I wish you all the very best my friend. Cheers.
