$100,000 dollars, Would you spend, save or invest?

If you were given $100,000 dollars, what would you do with it? Would you spend it on something that you have always wanted, save it or invest it?? If your choice is to invest how would you do this best to make this money work for you??

If only I had of done it differently!!!

Is there any one out there with advise on money matters. If you were 10 or 20 years younger, what would you have done differently to make money. Words and knowledge from people older and that have lived more years than you often have different views on things, to be able to look into the future would be a great thing. If you could go back in time what would you have done differently???

Hi Macaley, I was thinking that given you've had success with property in the past that you may have some good advice for those who haven't got into the property market yet...

Hi Macaley goodger
Thank you for the comment on pic one does what one can to save money ha ha.
As for the lost opportunity to purchase property for 5000 it was a moment of insanity and years ago that is not even a pipe dream theses days.

I would have bought lots of property, never bought anything on credit that wasn't an investment, and invested in Microsoft. But that's easy to say now and things are different. The best advice I could give it to put as much away in solid investments as you can each week. You will have a rainy day when you'll need it and you'll make a small fortune if you continue to invest your entire life. It may not seem that way at first with $100 here and $50 there, but compounding is an amazing thing - before you know it the years will go by and you'll have millions. Well, you'll certainly have enough to get by :)

(On the personal side of things I would have been wilder, taken more risks and not given a stuff about what other people thought)

:) the 70s were a good time - so, your parents had fun and you scooped a good name out of it!

The dream home is a while off, but it keeps me focussed!

Cliff Mearns replied to Cliff Mearns's discussion Bankruptcy -v Debt Agreement
"Ben, let's not lose the loop. How financiers view bankruptcy is not relevant to the discussion of an individual's capacity to pay something. Bankruptcy is being utilised as a means of evading debt obligations. "

Bankruptcy ben replied to Cliff Mearns's discussion Bankruptcy -v Debt Agreement
"I agree with the setiment however in reality there's nothing to encourage an individual to make a payment with a Debt Agreement! While technically it's different most financial companies regard it as the same as bankruptcy."
