I biggest stuff up was buying a house with a friend back in 2002 before the boom $220000 just over a year later we sold it cause she had to move and we got into a big fight and sold it for 220000 cause i just wanted to get rid of it and now im just getting back on my feet and want to buy my OWN place

Hey daniel, yeah, I can see how you could get sick of the country life. Much more action in the city when you're young! So hard to move from renting to buying though... and rents seem to be heading up all the time... this is not the kind of thing I want to hear:

Hey Daniel, they always say never invest or go into business with friends or family. At least you've been through it once, so you'll be able to learn from what happened.
So you've got $13k to pay off/save in the next 6 months - $2k a month, or $500 a week. Obviously you're going to tackle the MasterCard first - at the rate you're going you'll eat that in 6-7 weeks. So long as you don't add stuff to it! THat's the hardest part - not spending...
