What is your Money Confession? (Your biggest money win or stuff up)
Due to not being strong enough to say no to my wife, when it comes to supporting her two children aged 34 and 35, she has recently passed away, my darling and loving princess, was my carer, and unbeknown to me her carers pension, was primarily being given to support her daughter, our Grandson, her partner and his two children, to the detriment of ourselves, our credit cards (4 of them) have been maxed out, due to supporting her daughter, after my wife’s passing (may she rest in peace), I now find myself in a world of hurt as I survive wholly and solely on my DVA pension, and I don’t receive enough to pay for the mortgage and the other debits, I have found out that we are now two months behind in the mortgage, with really no chance of catching up, I am in the real situation, where my financiers are going to foreclose on my mortgage, you should see how I juggle the creditors, who are getting really “peeved off”, and who can blame them? After all it boils down to is myself not being strong enough to say enough is enough, but I loved her so much, I just couldn’t say no! So there's one for you all, I just didn’t have in my heart to administer “ tough love” and now I find myself suffering, so truly girls and boys, don’t be afraid to administer “tough love” it will hurt you both at the time, but in the long run it will payoff (no pun intended), administer it at the start, and it won’t be so hard to keep your partner on the right financial track.

Hi Anthony, sounds like you've had a rough trot lately - sorry to hear that. You should start a discussion about your situation to see if others have any good advice for you.
Having sucessfully changed my partner's and mother's spending habits I can relate to the pain you are talking about. Tough love is hard at the time but the rewards are worth it.
I taught my daughters the value of supporting themselves.
Reading your story I should imagine you have a great deal to teach the community.
Your tenacity is obvious and I know you will both come back keep the dream alive.
