Need to find loans with lower interest rates / buy a home

I was discharged from bankruptcy & only one company has accepted me. The repayments are too high because I'm on parenting payment. When I apply for a housing loan / personal loan I get declined. One company will accept me for housing loan if I can get a guarantor. Every time I apply, it goes on Baycorp (I think that is what it's called).

Please advise on what I should do.

Hi Marie
I do not envy your situation and it is outside of my limited knowledge. The only possible recommendation I have is to go to your local newsagent or library (if they have it) and get the Your Mortgage magazine. http://www.yourmortgage.com.au/ There might be something in there or options you have not known of.
Thanks for your reply jacquesk! Yes I wouldn't wish this on anyone -to be in this situation. It's so easy to plead bankruptcy, however even when you're discharged, people still don't want to know you. I've bookmarked the website you recommended. I hope I get more answers than only one from others!
Have a great day jacquesk - keep that nice smile up!
