FatCat's MoneyConfessions - helping you save (& make) money, one click at a time

I'm in need of ways to make some money and currently looking at so many online ideas. from ebay to google money pro. Even looking at a site that said 'HOW I EARN £14,576.92 PER MONTH" selling for 39.99 pound. Is anyone out there using any of these and really making money? I'm looking at these because I am really short of funds to do anything else. Please help........

Any comments would be appreciated

There is a wide range of skills in IT, but on one really understands IT, yet heaps of companies need someone who does - that's why you'll be able to earn a mint if you learn some of the skills.

Web design is a good place to start, and being a web hosting reseller is another option. You become a hosting provider - see this for more info:

http://www.webcentral.com.au/aboutus.php?p=partnerprogram&t=ove...

This is just one provider - you can be a reseller through heaps of hosting companies. You can also check out some threads on the Whirlpool forum:

Good luck!
Thank you Kbot

You said "Then there is the CFDs / Options trading, the e-mini trading but all require huge "Education" fees to begin with which I haven't got."

The ones asking for these fees are much the same as the sites that say you can earn $15000 etc.
If you are serious about trading for a living, you can learn a lot of the things for free or relatively cheaply.

I'd suggest you don't do CFD trading on stocks which can be manipulated. Currencies on the other hand are much harder to manipulate and while some say it may be more risky, I was managing to make a decent income from a technique called scalping.
If you have time you can even practice with some trading using no real money to see if you have the knack for it.
But you would be best to learn some of the techniques first.

www.babypips.com is a great site to learn if you are thinking about currency trading.
That sound like a great idea! A few weeks ago I was saying to my friend(eva2me) I think the AUD is going to come back to around mid 80 U S cents and I jumped on the CFD sites to see what I can do (was 94c then) :( I basically frowned, didn't know what to do whether i was to buy or sell so left it) I would have made some decent $ if I knew what to do than.

I will give this babypips site a try.

BTW my ebay is going ok everyone!! MyeBayitems

Still learning all the tricks of the trade :)
bvfan, can you tell me how much 1 need to start this? As you know I am really really short of funds at prescent. I have only time! :(
If you have equity in your home or can borrow money/personal loan, or Line of credit, do what I started doing a year ago, its called Covered calls or selling options (Also known as Buy Write), you can protect yourself using put options but you can make around 2-3% a month of the capital you invest. You use your capital to buy bluechip shares, & then write or sell call options. You are basically using equity or the banks money to create an income! if you start with $50k and then get a margin loan on top you can earn around 2 - 4k a month! of course that gross, but the interest is minimal, Its the safest strategy I've been exposed to as you get your money regardless of markey direction, & i've been trading for years, but only this strategy guarantees the income as you get the money pretty much up front..You can google , (covered calls/buy write strategy/writing options)The ASX has some good examples..
Thank you milo! I have heard of this strategy. Our problems however are funding is impossible at present. Just received a letter from my "No win no fee" solicitor asking for 5 figure upfront for disbursement to take my case just to mediation. WTF???? We are trapped now I think. We don't even have enough to eat almost let a alone that sum of $.

Milo, we have exhausted all funding options now that is why we are selling all we could go without at eBay. eBayStore

I honestly think this would be the strategy I would use if I have funding now! :(
If you don't have cash then look at stuff like home equity set up a line of credit (that's what I did), or borrow from people with the promise to give it back with interest, or sell a spare car, or borrow money even a personal loan. I know of people who have used credit card to get $5,000 then get a margin loan to make it $10,000 & then start. U get your money the next day guaranteed regardless of market direction! selling options & the interest you pay on the money is minimal, easily covered by the premium you get upfront. 2-3% is conservative, on 10k u can expect $300 - $500 a month! Its the sort of strategy that I would recommend to anyone to find the money anyway u can, I'm also currently unlocking more equity, my aim is at least 10k a month..
Wow, that's awesome milo! At this moment we have no way of getting anything. Not even credit card, all exhausted. However, we will sell whatever we can and gather the cash to start. We will be happy to make $300-$500 per month at the start. Do you mind give me more details milo?
Thanking you in advance. :)
try these sites for more info & they even send you a free DVD with the basics, its how I got started after hearing about the strategy thru my broker!

"Ben, let's not lose the loop. How financiers view bankruptcy is not relevant to the discussion of an individual's capacity to pay something. Bankruptcy is being utilised as a means of evading debt obligations. "

"I agree with the setiment however in reality there's nothing to encourage an individual to make a payment with a Debt Agreement! While technically it's different most financial companies regard it as the same as bankruptcy."
