FatCat's Money Confessions

FatCat's MoneyConfessions - helping you save (& make) money, one click at a time

I’m really interested to know why I received only one response to my query about ‘think and grow rich’ courses (refer A Formula for Making Money).. and this was from a self-confessed cynic.

I was under the impression that a money-focused site such as this would be attracting people who are keen to make a buck and as these courses are so popular (half of Oprah’s shows seem to be devoted to the concept) I’m surprised that I only got one reply.

I would really value some feedback..

Why do you think only one person responded.. and what do you think of this theory about us attracting poverty or wealth based on how and what we think?

Even if you’ve never done such a course I’d be really interested in your opinion.

Hi PJF,

I can't answer for other people but I will go over right now and say something!

Hi PJF, when I was working I did attend some of these type of courses, possibly a litte more on the personal development than the making money.

I actually did enjoy them and came away thinking very positively and convince I could do any thing. To prove this I stood in the doorway of the lift and in my most positive voice I said "I am not going to move until everyone in the lift joins me in singing Waltzing Matilda" it was fun and everyone joined me singing.

I am and have been a rather positive person so felt good having proved to myself I could do this, not really sure what else I achieved from this though.

Being positive is great but being in the right place at the right time is better ((grin)) I have never been rich but I have always managed to get in front and this is because I believed in me not what others told me I could or could not do,

Must say I am a bit iffy butty about many of these books and courses, I believe you need to be in the right frame of mind for them to work.

Be positive and believe in yourself.
Anyone who can initiate an impromptu lift choir, can surely do anything else she wants.

You go Colleen!

"Ben, let's not lose the loop. How financiers view bankruptcy is not relevant to the discussion of an individual's capacity to pay something. Bankruptcy is being utilised as a means of evading debt obligations. "

"I agree with the setiment however in reality there's nothing to encourage an individual to make a payment with a Debt Agreement! While technically it's different most financial companies regard it as the same as bankruptcy."
